    1. Hey Nancy! Bless you, that means so much to me. I worried over the sheer length, but breaking it over a few days didn't sit well with me. Thanks for wading through it! Indigo x

  2. What a great tale! And that's not pulling Elliot's either to say it.

    1. Hey Jaleh! Thank you, glad you enjoyed! By the way, I wouldn't advise pulling on Elliot. Last time we did that, we ended up at Gettysberg helping Lincoln with his speech. Indigo x

  3. Magnificent Indigo, simply magnificent and not a word too long. This more than any was the reason I signed up.

    ahem.....

Willing to share pizza you say?

That's all very well in theory my friend - but everyone knows that in practice theory never works.

Thanks for this and have a good weekend.

    Cheers!

    1. Hey Alistair! I salute you for the second read. This one gave me the willies with its length; not very blog-reader-friendly. Still. A good story will out! As for pizza, you didn't show, so I ate your two as well. Indigo

    1. Hey Savannah! I swear that most of this kind of dialog isn't in the script, and just writes itself. I work from a loose outline, which is why these things end up so damned long; characters flex and interract when I'm not paying attention. Oops. Glad you enjoyed! Indigo x

  5. I have to read this in parts because my kids won't let me stay on the computer for long periods. I'm on part 4 right now. I'm trying to picture an elephant in a trench coat.

    1. Hey Claudya! Bless you for making time for this final chapter (in seven parts!) - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's chapters weren't quite as long, but it's a dedicated reader who's read the lot! Indigo x

    1. Hey Claudya! Thanks for making your way through this! Abbey speaking young Dantoo's words is one of my favourite segments here. Indigo x

  7. I loved Abbey speaking young Dantoo's words. At first, I didn't understand. Then I reread the part about Dantoo taking Abbey's hand and remembered the earlier scene with Abbey. You make your readers participate and that's good. I feel a real investment in all these characters now. This was absolutely glorious, my friend. I'm in awe of your very special talent and honored by your friendship. Hugs!
