Can't you make a good case for being cool in an ironic sense? I'd go for that.
ReplyDeleteHey Murr! Truth is, I suspect folk at the office who see me in a three-piece and a flamboyant necktie every day think I'm either a dandy or a dickhead. Neither opinion bothers me much. I'm myself, and they can like it or lump it. I think that's perhaps the truest definition of cool? Even if it's only me that realises ;> Indigo x
DeleteFrom Truth, to Perceptions, to Honesty... is that what makes us "grown-ups"? I do know it's what makes you "my kind of people".
ReplyDeleteHey Paula! We're grown ups?! Say it ain't so, BoomBoom! And thank you, I feel exactly the same way x Indigo
DeleteYou're a bit weird, but that makes you cool in my book. Afterall, I'm a bit weird, and so are most of my friends in various ways. It's why my husband and I get along so well. :D Normal would be boring. And your ties are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHey Jaleh! Thank you, I'll accept that! I often think of myself as Normal Lite, but hey... =) And thank you about the ties! The folk I work with probably think I'm either a dandy or a dickhead, but I'm just being myself. This is perhaps the best definition for cool? Indigo x
DeleteI find quirky people very charming. It's being funny, honest, and yourself that is the coolest thing of all.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! Dammit, you beat me to the punch! I was just contemplating my navel and reaching the same conclusion. Indigo x
DeleteLook at you Indigo! What a handsome young man. Well, you have grown into a handsome man so no worries.
ReplyDeleteHa! Thank you! Yeah, I was pretty hopeless. Not the fine figure of a fella I am now. *looks shifty*
DeleteI thoroughly enjoyed reading this!
ReplyDeleteHey Britt! Thank you! Please tell your friends! Just don't mention the badgers, they're a harder sell to newbies. Indigo x
DeleteNow I believe in the tooth-fairy
ReplyDeleteWell that's nice. She speaks very highly of you too. Tho curses your lack of fillings.
