  1. Looks like all the stars were lined up in your favor. As for the movie stinking, the bright spot there is now at least you can stop wanting to see it. All in all, you came out ahead and now I want some scampi and a cold beer.

  3. A well served London Pride would always make my day!
Hats off to filling your time so well, I'm a fickler for turning up at the right time, too early or late make me feel uncomfortable :{/

  4. :-)

Congratulations on filling that metaphorical jar. :-) And scampi? I can always eat scampi. Yum.

  5. Hey Jayne! As General Habbibal of Carthage said to one of his elephants, "I love it when a plan comes together." And I tell you, the scampi was magnificent.

Hey Eolist! This is true, as we both know. Well, when I say on a whim, I mean getting lost. And when I say journey, I mean one of us hanging onto the dashboard and looking at the gaping abyss to our right and screaming like a cheerleader.

Hey Robbie! I've always been a keenly punctual chap, but only to counterbalance The Late iDifficult. The man who has total command of time, but can't read a watch.

Hey Pearl! Lovely to see you smile, darling. I filled the jar to the very brim. And in public! I always have to remember that more than three shakes is an arrestable offence.

By the way, I'm sensing some love for the noble scampo* and all his scampi chums. And they deserve it, the tasty little fellas. Go seek them out and express your love with tartar sauce today.

[* Yes, the correct singular. This is a public service announcement. You're welcome.]

    Thanks one and all! Indigo

  6. And now I'm going crazy wondering just what movie you had to see, mostly so I can avoid it if it wasn't good.

  7. I love it when all the nooks and crannies of life get filled perfectly. Condolences on the movie, though.
